The Grand Hotel Tritone is located overlooking the sparkling blue
waters of the Mediterranean Sea in the town of Praiano on the famous
Amalfi Coast, about halfway between the touristic towns of Amalfi
and Positano. This famous stretch of coastline with its distinguishable
promenade has been known as one of Europe’s most stunningly
beautiful destinations since the times before the Roman Empire.
The Amalfi Coast region is unique in that, within a short distance,
one may find every aspect of Italy also within easy reach. A short
trip by car or regional train takes you over the Sorrento Peninsula
to the Bay of Naples and an hour more on the road takes you into
the city itself. Going west on the other hand, requires a more buoyant
form of transport – ferries to the islands of Capri, Ischia
or even further afield can be taken from nearby Capri.
For those who’d really like to push the boat out
we’d be delighted to arrange private water transport, allowing
you to tour the coastline to your heart’s content. Helicopter
trips to the various islands may also be arranged for those who
really want to get their holiday off the ground.
Rome, the stunning capital city of Italy and heart of the world’s
most ruthless and devastating empire and more than 2,500 years of
history, is about three hours away by road or regional trains. Check
